Wienerz Vidalia Sausage with Marsala Sauce
Wienerz Vidalia Sausage with Marsala Sauce
Ingredients
4 Wienerz Vidalia Onion Brats
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup finely diced RealSweet VIDALIA onions ( if available)
2 tbsp diced garlic
1 cup finely diced mushrooms
1 tbsp flour
1 cup Marsala wine
1 cup beef stock
1/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup ry sherry
Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
Place Wienerz Vidalia Onion Brats in hot water (to tenderize the natural skin) NOT BOILING for 5 minutes
Grill or saute on low to medium heat for 4 minutes on each side
until internal tem is at least 145 F

SAUTE FIRST
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup finely diced RealSweet VIDALIA onions ( if available)
2 tbsp diced garlic
1 cup finely diced mushrooms

ADD
1 tbsp flour, saute for 2-4 minutes on low heat

ADD
1 cup Marsala wine
1 cup beef stock
1/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup ry sherry
Salt and Pepper to taste 

Cook for 3-5 minutes and spoon Marsala Sauce over Wienerz Vidalia Onion Brats
Serve with Noodles or Pasta or a toasted BUN or French Roll
