Tasso Shrimp and Cream Pasta
Tasso Shrimp and Cream Pasta
3/4 stick butter
3/4 lb of Tasso (julienned)
1-1/2 cups cream
2 lbs med shrimp
1/2 cup sliced green onion

Melt the butter and add the tasso and begin to saute. Cook for about 10 mins remove the tasso and add the cream to deglaze. Reduce the temp and begin to reduce the cream. When cream starts to thicken add the shrimp and cook 2-3 mins. Add the green onion and the cooked tasso. Place on top of your favorite cooked pasta.
