Sweet and Sour sauce
Sweet and Sour sauce

1/4 c. fresh orange juice
1/4 c. rice vinegar
5 Tbl. packed brown sugar
5 Tbl. ketchup
2 tsps. soy sauce
1 Tbl. minced hot jalapeno

1 Tbl. vegetable oil
1 tsp. minced ginger
1 1/2 Tbl. cornstarch dissolved in 3 Tbl. water

Heat a stir fry pan to high heat. Add oil, ginger and cook about 20 seconds. Mix the seasonings and add to pan, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add the cornstarch and cook until the sauce boils and thickens, about one minute. It will keep in the fridge for up to one week.
