1/4 cup olive oil
2 lb lean ground beef
1 small onion finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic minced
3 oz tomato sauce
1lg tomato chopped(seeded if you like)
8 oz slice green olives(pimiento stuffed)
1/2 cup Burgundy wine
1/2 tbs brown sugar
3 grates of nutmeg
1/4 cup of water(may need it may not)
1 cup rasins(optional)

Use a large skillet with a tight fitting lid. Add the oil to the pan and begin to cook the Ground beef. Season the beef with S&P. Cook until there is no pink left. Remove meat and begin sweating the onion,tomato. Add meat back into the skillet and add the remaining ingredients except the H2O. Stir well. Add the water if to thick,lower the heat to about med lo and cook with the lid on for about 20-25 mins. Meanwhile cook up some white rice and serve the Picadillo over the rice.
