Mock bananas Crème Brulè with Pineapple mash
Ingredients2 whole ripe bananas
1 can sliced pineapples in heavy syrup
1/4 cup of sugar
Cut the bananas in half leaving the peel on. Dredge in the sugar and let sit for 5 minutes. Heat your BGE to 350º and grill the Pineapple. While the pineapple is grilling begin browning/burning your sugar on the bananas with a torch. Move the torch back and forth to caramelize and crust the sugar. Put the pineapples in a bowl and mash them up with a masher. Peel the bananas and set on a plate crust side up and top with the pineapple mash and serve.
