Minted Lamb Burger with Feta and Hummus
Ingredients
1 1/2 lb ground lamb
½ cup fresh mint
¼ cup fresh basil
3 minced garlic cloves
1 tsp salt
1 Tbs paprika
½ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ tsp fresh ground cinnamon
2 Tbs olive oil
1 7 ounce block feta cheese, sliced
4 Hoagie rolls, toasted
Slices Sweet Vidalia onions
4 Romaine lettuce leaves
½ cup classic flavored Hummus

Instructions
Preparation Mix first 7 ingredients in medium bowl. Shape into 4 oblong patties to fit hoagie rolls. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Place patties in skillet and cook until bottom is well browned, around 4-5 minutes. Flip patties and place feta slices on each patty. Cook until desired doneness, at least 4 minutes. Take hoagie roll, spread hummus liberally on each side of toasted hoagie, place onion slices on bottom of hoagie. Next, place cooked patty, romaine lettuce, and additional onion slices. Firmly press hoagie top on burger and slice burger on the diagonal for plating.
