Mexican Chocolate Fondue
Ingredients12 oz heavy whipping cream
16 oz of semi-sweet chocolate
4 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon of Ancho Chili powder
In med sauce pan bring the cream up to a low boil, add the cinnamon sticks. Remove from the heat and allow to steep for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile place the semi-sweet chocolate and chili powder in a large mixing bowl. Place the cream back on the stove and re heat to a medium boil (be careful it doesn't boil over or too hard). Remove the cinnamon and pour the cream over the chocolate pepper combo. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 5 minutes. Remove plastic and whisk till incorporated. Serve warm with fresh fruit, cake or dried fruit.
