Italian Sausage Pizza
1 pizza dough (Publix makes a fine pre-made dough)
1 lb Italian sausage cooked and sliced
2 cups of Pizza sauce
2 cups of blended pizza cheeses (or Mozzerella)
Check the bakery at Publix for a pizza dough, let it rise in the bag on the countertop till doubled in size, then punch it down, let it relax for 20 minutes and begin. Roll the dough out to fit on the Pizza stone. Sauce the dough and top with 1 cup of cheese. Bake it in a 350º Egg for about 15 minutes. Add the sausage and the rest of the cheese and bake for about another 10-12 minutes. Remove the stone and then cut into slices Enjoy the best pizza made outdoors with a good wood fired flavor on the BGE.
