Homemade Apple Pie
Ingredients4-6 Granny Smith apples
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
2 boxes Publix pie crusts, 4 crusts
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cast iron skillet
Pre-heat Big Green Egg to 350º. Peel and slice the apples. Melt the butter. Add the brown sugar, sugar and cinnamon. Mix and cook until boiling. Add the apples and mix together. Put 2 pie crusts in iron skillet. Stretch to fit the skillet. Add apples to the skillet. Top apples with 3rd pie crust. Use the 4th pie crust to make a decorative pie edge. (optional) Bake for 45 minutes. or until the show is over and the crew can share the pie.
