Dollywood’s Red Bliss Potatoes
Ingredients5 lb red bliss potatoes
1 lb julienne sliced yellow onions
½ lb julienne sliced green peppers
Liquid margarine (enough to keep potatoes from sticking)
Granulated garlic (to taste)
Seasoned salt (to taste)
Wash potatoes, cut into quarters and place into a pot of water. Cook potatoes until they are tender. Drain the water off the potatoes. Pour potatoes into a preheated cast iron skillet. Add the onions, green peppers, margarine, garlic and seasoned salt. Sauté until peppers and onions are tender. The longer and slower the mixture simmers the more the flavors mix together.
