Cranberry Compote
Cranberry Compote
Ingredients
1 lb fresh cranberries and water to cook cranberries according to instructions on bag
1 Tbs of fresh grated lemon and orange zest
Juice of one medium to large orange
3 Tbs of lemon juice
1 cup sugar
2 cups water
3 Tbs cornstarch

Instructions
Mix all ingredients except the corn starch in a medium size sauce pan over medium heat. Add 1/4 cup of water to the corn starch in a small glass and stir until it dissolves After cooking the cranberries for about 8-10 mins they should start popping. Slowly add the cornstarch solution to help thicken the Compote.
