Ingredients2 cups packed brown sugar
2 sticks real butter
¼ cup water
1 tbsp vanilla
½ tsp baking soda
12 oz chocolate chips sweetened (Hershey's)
Lightly grease 10x15 sheet. Set aside In large heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and water. Bring slowly to a boil. Stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Insert candy thermometer and cook until 285 degrees. Remove from heat and quickly stir in vanilla and baking soda. Immediately pour into greased baking sheet. Sprinkle w/ chocolate chips over hot toffee. Let sit 5 minutes and spread evenly. Sprinkle with nuts. Cool completely. Break & store in airtight container.
