Chef and the Fat Man American Onion Dip
Serves: Makes12 servings
1/2 tablespoon butter
1 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 carton (8 ounces) sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
**8 oz cream cheese at room temperature.
In medium skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat until melted; add onion. Cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until tender and lightly browned. Remove from heat, stir in Worcestershire sauce. Cool completely. In bowl, combine onion mixture, sour cream, mayonnaise, salt and pepper; and **cream cheese. mix until blended. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.
Serve with wings, chips, snacks and veggies (very versatile)
