Challah French Toast
Challah French Toast
8 large eggs
1 1/2 c of heavy cream
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp of honey
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 large loaf of Challah
vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 250. In a large shallow bowl mix together eggs,cream,honey,vanilla and salt. Slice the bread into 3/4 inch thick slices. Soak as many slices as the bowl will allow. Soak for at least 5 mins. In a large sauce pan heat a little oil over medium heat. Cook the bread for about 2-3 minutes per side. Place the toast into the oven to hold while you finish the rest for everyone else. Serve with your favorite syrup or fresh berries.
