Bread Pudding
Bread Pudding
1 Loaf of stale bread(egg bread works the best)
2 cups sugar
3 eggs Raisins(if you like them)
milk (how much? depends on how big of a loaf you have)
1 tbs vanilla extract(pure)

Preheat oven to 350. Tear or cut the bread into chucks and place into a big bowl.Add all the other ingredients. Mix well.(it is great at this time to use your hands to mix it.) . Place into a baking pan about 13x9 and place into the oven for about 35 minutes. Use a tooth pick to check for doneness. Meanwhile lets make a sauce. Traditionally it is a whiskey sauce but you can change the liqueur if you like. Mix 1 cup of sugar, 1 stick of butter and 1/2 cup of your liqueur in a sauce pan. Add one egg that has been beaten. Turn on the heat very low and stir constantly. When bread pudding is done top it with the sauce. Add a good ice cream but asks your guests if they want ice cream first.
