Beer-Marinated Chicken
Beer-Marinated Chicken

1/2 c. peanut oil
1 tsp. German mustard, preferably D├╝sseldorf-style
1 c. dark German beer
1/4 c. lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. minced fresh basil
1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
3 1/2 to 4 1/2 pounds chicken parts
Non-stick cooking spray

Whisk together oil and mustard in bowl. Whisk in beer and lemon juice until mixture is smooth. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, basil and thyme. Add chicken pieces and turn to coat well. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 12 hours Heat Big Green Egg to 350┬║ and grill for 10-15 minutes until fully cooked.
