Ingredients5 granny smith or firm texture apples peeled and sliced thin
1 cup of sugar + 1/2 cup
1/2 cup of AP flour
1 stick of butter
In a buttered casserole dish place a single layer of apples.Drizzle a little sugar on top. Repeat process until all the apples are used and sugar is your last ingredient. In your Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer combine the 1/2 cup sugar with the stick of butter and 1/2 cup of flour.Mix until it forms a grainy dough about 1-1/2 minutes on 4 speed. Sprinkle your dough on top of apples and bake in the BGE for 35-45 Min's using indirect heat. Serve this right out of the Egg with a big scoop of Vanilla flecked ice cream.
